Former Dutch model Micky Hoogendijk did not only trade Amsterdam for Austin, Texas (“same open minded, creative atmosphere”), but also swapped places around the camera.

Her focus is now through the lens which resulted in a collaboration with Amsterdam’s Baden Baden interior store where her latest work is now on display. What’s a great interior without an impressive framed piece of photo art? Right.
Hoogendijk: ”Baden Baden Interior is a beautiful and especially accessible location for my work. Showing art photography in an interior setting. The atmosphere at Baden Baden Interior perfectly fits my work.”

Nurtured by the life of the international art world and memories of the Old Dutch masters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt, Micky takes you on a journey into her universe. A dynamic and inspiring realm where visual arts, technology and theater melt together into photography. We’re talking Dutch artistic roots here. [KB]
